Pure gases (up to 99.99999% purity) are used as carrier gases in analytical applications or as process gases in highly sensitive research applications. Mixtures of toxic and reactive gases are used as calibration gases in analytical applications or as process gases.   • Analytical

Accurate calibration of analytical instruments is essential in quality assurance/control (QA/QC), research and other demanding applications. Spec Gas Inc. can provide very precise and accurate gas calibration standards with certificate of analysis. Many of these gas calibration standards are produced with proprietary blending techniques and are analyzed with NIST (National Institute of Standards & Technology) Traceable reference standards. These exacting procedures ensures the customers that the gas standards they get from Spec Gas Inc. are of the 'best quality'!!

Spec Gas Inc. can provide gas standards for Gas chromatographs (GCs) with many different types of detectors including FID (Flame Ionization Detector), ECD (Electron Capture Detector) and PID (Photoionization Detector); Mass spectrometer (MS) and IR instruments including FTIR (Fourier Transform InfraRed) and NDiR (Non-dispersive Infrared).
