Cylinder Return Program

What makes SpecGas Inc. unique is that it offers high quality specialty gases with a customer-friendly cylinder return program. Customers can get their products in refillable cylinders or DOT-approved disposable cylinders. As part of the 'Cylinder Return Program', customers can put down a deposit for a refillable cylinder at the time of product purchase and when they return the cylinder to Spec Gas Inc. the deposit will be credited to their account. This program addresses the concerns a customer typically faces when using refillable cylinders. The benefits to the customers are (1) No cylinder rental fee and (2) No need to own the cylinder and hence there is no concern of disposing of residual products in the cylinder.

Spec Gas Inc. has the expertise to handle and dispose of reactive and toxic gases in a safe and environmentally friendly way and then reuse the cylinder. So, customers are assured that Spec Gas Inc. is following and supporting their environmental goals.

Disposable Cylinders

Light weight disposable cylinders offer the flexibility of delivering the product at the point-of-use and hence the customer can avoid the cost of long pipes, gas cabinets and other accessories. The main advantage of the disposable cylinders is that it holds only a limited amount of gas.

Refillable DOT-approved Cylinders

Refillable cylinders can hold a large amount of gas compared to disposable cylinders. However, many gas vendors charge a rental fee for these cylinders or the customers have to own these cylinders. With these options the customers have to be concerned with (1) a recurring monthly cylinder rental fee, if they rent the cylinders or (2) disposal of residual gases if they own these cylinders.

Spec Gas Inc., after listening to the customer concerns, developed the unique 'Cylinder Return Program' outlined above. This enables the customers to choose the type and size of cylinders they require and not be concerned with rental fees or disposal of residual gases.
